Belcanto

Belcanto is the most compact of the three—soon to be four—loudspeaker projects we offer. It is a classically designed, digitally active 2-way system that stands out thanks to its innovative technology.

It employs neither expensive oil-filled capacitors nor costly air-core inductors, and no resistors interfere with the music signal path. Instead, signals are routed directly to the drivers via two digital Class-D power amplifiers per speaker. A lightweight paper cone handles frequencies from 30 Hz to 3,000 Hz, while the AMT tweeter takes over at 3,000 Hz, extending up to 25 kHz. All music signals are processed entirely in the digital domain and fed directly to the power amplifiers, rendering a conventional crossover completely unnecessary.

Compared to ceramic or aluminum oxide cones, the paper cone exhibits no disruptive resonances—neither in the transition range to the AMT nor beyond it—displaying instead a perfectly smooth and clean roll-off. This characteristic ensures the sound remains exceptionally clear and uncolored, making the driver an outstanding choice for high-quality loudspeaker systems.

Additionally, an FIR filter ensures precise time and impulse control while preventing phase shifts. By maintaining a phase of 0°, it further enhances the listening experience. Discover the exceptional sound quality for yourself during a personal listening session and experience how Belcanto redefines your music.

Fortissimo

The Fortissimo is currently the mid-sized model in the Active Series. It is a classic, digitally active 2-way system, though in this case, it is augmented by two identical mid-bass drivers functioning as a subwoofer unit. Both woofers are driven by a dedicated third Class D amplifier operating in the 20 to 100 Hz range. Effectively, this makes it a 3-way system, with the third "way" implemented as a woofer combination.

As with the other models, there are no capacitors, air-core inductors, or resistors in the signal path. A lightweight paper cone driver handles frequencies up to 3,000 Hz, at which point the AMT tweeter takes over. All audio signals are processed digitally and routed directly to the power amplifiers; a conventional crossover network is unnecessary.

Naturally, the Fortissimo utilizes FIR filters to ensure not only time alignment but also precise transient response and exact phase coherence.

These technical characteristics ensure exceptionally clear and authentic sound quality. We invite you to experience the benefits firsthand during a detailed listening session and hear the difference in acoustic reproduction.

Fortissimo Grande

The Fortissimo Grande is currently the flagship model in our product lineup. It is a classic, digitally controlled active 2-way speaker system that has been upgraded into a 3-way system, offering significantly improved bass performance compared to the standard Fortissimo.

The woofer employed in this system is capable of moving five times the volume of air, thereby generating an exceptionally powerful and dynamic bass.

This evolution ensures even more precise sound reproduction and an impressive listening experience.

Especially when the music contains deep bass frequencies, the woofer drives the bass with tremendous force, creating a full and lively soundstage. The woofer is powered by a third Class D amplifier operating in the range of below 20 Hz to 100 Hz, ensuring clean and clear reproduction of the lowest notes.

In total, the system incorporates three identical Class D amplifiers—just like the Fortissimo. These deliver 120 watts of power each for the subwoofer and midrange sections, while the high-frequency channel is supplied with 80 watts. This setup guarantees powerful, balanced sound reproduction across all frequency ranges.

The Fortissimo Grande combines the outstanding advantages of a 2-way system—particularly regarding spatial imaging and depth—with a powerful, precise low-frequency range. The bass impresses with exceptional clarity and power, provided the music and recording contain the corresponding dynamic bass content. The Fortissimo Grande stands out thanks to its technical specifications and first-class sound quality.

In addition, an FIR filter ensures precise tuning of time, impulse, and phase response, resulting in exceptionally natural and detailed sound reproduction. We invite you to experience the extraordinary sound quality of this model for yourself during a personal listening test.
